Why did Lord Shiva struggle with Lord Krishna?
Banasur was the eldest son of King Bali among the many 100 sons. He was the 10th descendant of Prahlad. He was very keen on Lord Shiva from childhood. When he was grown up, he meditated and worshiped laborious to appease Lord Shiva. Sooner or later, seeing this, Lord Shiva visited him. He gave him the boon of a thousand highly effective arms. With this boon, he turned very highly effective. Banasur additionally requested for yet one more boon that Shiva would all the time shield him every time he would face issue or in bother. Lord Shiva granted him that too.
