Saraswati (सरस्वती) is the Hindu goddess of information, music, arts and science. She is the companion of Brahma, additionally revered as his Shakti (energy). It was together with her data that Brahma created the universe. She is part of the trinity of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. All of the three varieties assist the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva within the creation, upkeep and destruction of the Universe.
