NBA Standings – The Houston Rockets, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Dallas Mavericks

44

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is one of the most prestigious professional sports leagues in the world. It is composed of the best basketball players from all over the world. Some of the teams that make up the NBA include the Los Angeles Lakers, the Houston Rockets, and the Dallas Mavericks. All of these teams have made it to the playoffs at some point, and there are always new surprises that make it to the NBA’s top tier.

Los Angeles Lakers

If you’re a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, you might have noticed that they’re slowly but surely getting back into the playoff picture. Their record is.500 over the last 15 games, and they’re now just two and a half games out of the last two playoff spots. But if they don’t turn things around, they could end up missing the postseason altogether. And that’s if they don’t trade some key players.

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a number of successful seasons in their history. They’ve won five NBA championships, including three in a row in 2000, 2002, and 2010. In their heyday, they drafted players like Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, James Worthy, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are a professional basketball team based in San Francisco, California. They compete in the Western Conference and Pacific Division of the National Basketball Association. Their home games are at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Warriors have not made the playoffs in two consecutive seasons. However, they qualified for the play-in tournament. This is a new addition to the NBA, and teams with less winning percentages can earn a playoff spot.

After a losing record in the first half of the season, the Warriors began to show signs of improvement. They won 13 of their first 22 games and started a 10-game winning streak. During this stretch, Stephen Curry set a new NBA record with 261 three-pointers.

Houston Rockets

A quick tally of the most recent games of the Rockets yielded a. 500-win percentage and a.500 records in the West. The aforementioned win percentage is not without its fair share of high-flying thugs and freeloading hunks. Houston also has a plethora of young, narcissistic, and obnoxious prospects. Among them are a pair of NBA All-Stars, a pair of MVP-caliber starters, and a couple of raging bulls. Adding to the list are the likes of former Rockets standouts Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler, along with former Houston natives James Harden and Chris Paul. Some of these players could soon be joining the aforementioned duo on the court in the near future.

While the Rockets can’t match their stellar start from the playoffs, there’s a lot to like about the young guns. They have a pair of legitimate MVP candidates in Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler, as well as two MVP-caliber starters in Chris Paul and Clint Capela. That’s not to mention a couple of legitimate hunks in Carmelo and Clint.

Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks have put up a pretty good season so far. They are currently in fourth place in the Western Conference and have a 2-4 record. This isn’t bad, considering the team’s lack of marquee players. Their playoff chances aren’t too shabby if you ask me, but the odds aren’t that great. Fortunately for them, they’re just four games back from first-place Denver Nuggets in the West.

While the Mavericks may not be able to match last year’s 11-win record, they have enough firepower to give them a decent shot. As long as Dwight Powell and JaVale McGee stay healthy, the Cowboys have a chance to regain their footing. If they can do it right, they’ll be a formidable opponent in the playoffs.

Philadelphia 76ers

Philadelphia 76ers started the season with a three-game winning streak. After that, they had a 26-game losing streak that tied the all-time NBA record for most consecutive losses in a single season. That put them in fourth place in the Eastern Conference. They are currently tied with the Milwaukee Bucks, who have the tiebreaker over them, as well as Boston.

The Bucks were able to win a 131-101 game against the Detroit Pistons, which helped them finish the regular season with a 15-67 record. But Philadelphia still has a chance to improve. It is likely that the team will play in the play-in tournament, which starts after the regular season ends.

If the 76ers win their final four games, they will have a good chance to move up to the third seed. However, the team has only beaten teams with a plus-14.6 record. This means that they have not beaten any of the best teams in the league.
