Getting your hands on a top-of-the-line Acer aspire 5 isn’t a walk in the park, but the good news is that there are several ways to go about getting your hands on the latest and greatest laptop.

141dpi IPS display

Amongst the many laptops that graced my desk this week, Acer’s Aspire 5 stands out for its display and its 10-core Intel Core i5-1235U CPU. The display has a healthy 1451:1 contrast ratio and boasts a respectable 228cd/m2 of maximum brightness. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack and two Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbits/s) USB ports. For a low-priced general-purpose laptop, the Aspire 5 is a steal. It is also one of the sexiest machines you’ll see on display shelves. The aforementioned octa-core CPU is paired with 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM. The Acer Aspire 5 has a few quirks, but it isn’t all bad. Its slate grey finish and streamlined chassis do little to tarnish the reputation of the sexiest machines.

512GB NVMe SSD

Among the many models of Acer Aspire 5 512GB NVMe SSD, you can find many variants with different processors, storage configurations, and RAM. Despite its simplicity, Acer Aspire 5 is a decent business laptop that delivers desktop-class performance.

The body of Acer Aspire 5 is made of plastic. While it’s built solidly and feels good to hold, its color temperature is a little too cool for comfortable viewing in very bright environments. Besides, the screen has a narrow color gamut.

The Acer Aspire 5 has a 15.6″ full HD IPS display. It has an HDMI 2.0 port that can output 4k at 60Hz. In addition, it has three USB-A ports. These can support USB 2.0 up to 480Mbps. Its webcam is also decent.

Sound system

Whether you’re watching videos, listening to music, or streaming, your Acer Aspire 5 has a sound system that you can enjoy. However, it can stop working for a variety of reasons. Fortunately, you can fix this problem.

First, you’ll need to check the audio settings on your Acer laptop. These settings are usually found in the control panel. Next, you’ll need to locate the audio controller. This can be found in the hardware section of the control panel.

If you’re using an external device, you’ll also need to connect it to the laptop’s audio port. In this case, you’ll want to use a 3.5mm (1/8″) audio jack. Alternatively, you can use a USB connection.

Once you’ve connected the device, you’ll want to run the Windows sound troubleshooter. To do this, right-click the speaker icon in the system tray and select Run troubleshooter. The sound troubleshooter will run and check for a variety of issues automatically.

Touchpad

Whether you’re using a Windows PC or an Android device, you might find that the touchpad on your Acer Aspire 5 A515-54G isn’t working as smoothly as it should. If you’re running Windows 10 or 8 on your Acer laptop, you can fix your touchpad by doing the right things.

First, you’ll want to take a look at your device manager. You’ll see your touchpad listed under Pointing Devices. You can also switch it on or off using the keyboard.

Next, you’ll want to make sure that you’re using the right touchpad driver. Often, if you use the wrong driver, your Acer touchpad won’t work properly.

If that’s the case, try to update your driver. You can do this by manually downloading the latest driver, or you can use a third-party tool.
