Minister of Highway Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari paid his final respects to the comedy veteran Raju Srivastava on the latter’s passing. He was joined by his Cupboard colleague Union Residence Minister Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP Nationwide President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and others in providing condolences to the departed soul.

Srivastava handed away on Tuesday on the age of 58 at AIIMS in Delhi after extended hospitalisation. The comic, identified for his acts in The Nice Indian Laughter Problem, was hospitalised on August 10 after he complained of chest ache and collapsed whereas understanding on the health club. Srivastava featured in films like Salman Khan and Bhagyashree-starrer Maine Pyaar Kiya and Madhuri Dixit’s breakout film Tezaab, amongst others.
