Precisely how Well Do You Know Your Cleanup Service?

Is your cleaning services a national chain, a regional service or an individual? Either way, it is a must for you to do your research. On the company and the individual(s) that enter your property. The people hired directly into these companies are often less than attractive. This is not to say that all are usually. It is just to make you aware that associated with unsafe procedures are being utilized in some companies. Are you optimistic about the backgrounds of the employees they send to your residence? Have they had any earlier convictions or drug make use?

Background checks and drug assessments do not always mean you now have a reputable cleaning service. Substance testing can be costly. Mainly in the case of small businesses. They do not necessarily require criminal record checks or drug testing to get employment. Do you know that the company you are dealing with requires this applicant to be hired? If they do, are their criminal record checks sufficient? What about the drug checks? Some companies will hire less-than-desirable individuals, even when background checks come back with harmful items. Same with substance testing.

Many companies are qualified, bonded and insured. Specifically, what does that means to you? In short, qualified means a company is documented to do a specific job and only that type of job. Bonded means the company features secured funds (controlled by the state) available for consumer says against the company. Insured shows that if something is broken or an overuse injury occurs, the client is not to blame for it. The company’s insurance handles it. If the company is not insured, the client may be to blame for any injuries that may afflict the employee(s). Many companies, such as the one I was employed with, have become Bbb (BBB) members. This just means many

people paid a fee to become a new member. It does not mean that they are an honest company. You should always check with often the BBB to see if there are almost any complaints against the company. In the event the company is relatively new, presently, there may not be anything reported. Thus consider that. Many individuals confuse this and imagine the company is reputable even though it is a member of the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. This is not necessarily true. The moment will usually tell whether a business is reputable or not.

The area company I was employed with did background checks and medical testing. But still chose applicants that had destructive items on their backgrounds and bank checks. Such as bad checks, go shopping lifting, fraud, illegal medicine possession, illegal drugs regarding resale, or illegal medicine use, just to name a couple. The company did drug tests through a medical service for the initial few months and then opted to be able to do in-house drug testing, currently cheaper. It is also easier to

deceive this particular drug test. The corporation still hired several staff that did not pass the p test. It was up to the customer’s discretion on the applicant and the drug found in the particular applicant’s system. Marijuana and prescription drugs were not considered an excuse not to hire. This could be because the owner knew that her best friend/salesperson was a chronic weed user.

Working in that company, I became aware that methamphetamine, bust cocaine, cocaine, heroin, LSD and drugs of that nature are the only ones that are viewed (by the owner) as being less than desirable for occupation. In the owner’s opinion, these drugs make people resort to stealing. Employees consuming prescription drugs or marijuana ended up overlooked. Just because it is medicine does not mean that it is safe. Many prescription drugs still alter someone’s ability to function normally. If an addicted prescription user no longer has enough of his/her prescription, chances are that man may decide to steal to receive drugs.

On more than one particular occasion, a client has called having complaints of money or all their prescription drugs missing from their household. There have been complaints from buyers stating that they could fragrance marijuana on the employees. Exercise witnessed several business employees under the influence of prescription and illegal drugs. Some of that had been actually driving company autos. This was very unsettling if you ask me, as I believe in the clients’ safety often. Not only are classified as the client’s family and homes invested in jeopardy but so are additional unsuspecting drivers on the road.

If you have hired a cleaning service, I suggest you stay on your property and observe the employees or individual(s). Talk to them, put them in doubt. Do you get a “strange” character from them? Are they reluctant to resolve your questions? Can they look an individual in the eye when conversing with you? Do they seem discombobulated or out of sorts? Do these cards seem to be sick or not sense well frequently? When the services or individual(s) leave your property, check your entire doors and windows to see if they have been kept unlocked. As your home could be set up for future theft or worse. These are just about all red flags. If you feel uncomfortable with anyone in your home for any purpose, ask them to leave. You do not have to take anyone into your home, with the company telling you their staff are safe. If you feel they are under the effects while in your home, call the business immediately and notify these. In any case, the boss is unaware of their staff’s drug use.

In some cases, like where I was employed, the business may overlook prescription drugs use. As it is sometimes tough to look for suitable “clean” applicants. Many companies just do not have health care and need “bodies” to try and do the work.

If you are considering getting a cleaning service, it is your right as a consumer to be aware of who is in your home. Ask for referrals. Make sure you know the names of the employees that are being placed in your own home. Do your research. Does time have the company been in small business? Is it a reputable company? Don’t simply rely on the references this company gives you. A company will not provide a reference from

someone many knows was unsatisfied. This kind of reference could just be friends or family participants. Ask around your neighbourhood, your ceremony, the grocery store or other individuals you may know who are employed or have used the service. It will not rely on just one person’s view. If they no longer use the provider, find out why. How big of a turnover in employment will the company have? If you notice a high turnover, this is a red light. There is a reason for employment yield.

Many people who are content or unhappy with expert services will write about it using the internet. You will end up surprised by what you can discover. If you see cleaning services at someone else’s home or a business, make a point to contact these and get their feed backside on the services provided. Publish your message on a regional message board and ask about the services. Chances are you will get both bad and good reviews, but, in the end, you will have a better idea of what actual people think. Bear in mind your family and your home may be at risk.
