Donald Lopez is Arthur E. Hyperlink Distinguished College Professor of Buddhist and Tibetan Research on the College of Michigan and chair of the Division of Asian Languages and Cultures. He has written extensively on features of religions of Asia, and his books embrace Prisoners of Shangi-La: Tibetan Buddhism and the West; The Story of Buddhism; and Buddhism and Science: A Information for the Perplexed. Professor Lopez additionally serves as chair of the Michigan Society of Fellows.
