Kaal Bhairav is the guardian deity of Ujjain, India. Daily, a whole bunch of devotees come to the temple and supply bottles of liquor as a part of their worship. The temple priest pours the liquor in a bowl and tilts it into the deity’s mouth. The monks declare that there isn’t any gap behind the mouth, and that the deity is definitely consuming all of the alcohol — successfully turning vice into advantage.
