ISKCON of New Jersey hosted His Grace Radhika Ramana Dasa for fantastic seminar on “Sanskrit for Scriptural Research”. Please hear and share.
This seminar will give college students an appreciation for the sweetness and utility of the Sanskrit language. The course will deal with these features of the language that are virtually helpful for the research of Srila Prabhupada’s books. These embody a fundamental familiarity with:

The aim of Sanskrit research
The construction and scope of the language
Correct pronunciation and recitation of verses
Continuously used verse metres
Guidelines of euphonic mixture (sandhi)

Radhika Ramana dasa (Dr. Ravi M. Gupta) is the Charles Redd Professor of Non secular Research and Director of the Non secular Research Program at Utah State College. He’s the creator or editor of 4 books, together with an abridged translation of the Bhagavata Purana (with Kenneth Valpey), revealed final 12 months by Columbia College Press. Radhika Ramana accomplished his doctorate in Hindu Research at Oxford College and subsequently taught on the College of Florida, Centre Faculty, and the Faculty of William and Mary.
