Jagajjalapalam kachad kanda malam, Sarahandraphalam mahadaithyakalam, Nabho neelakayam duravaramayam, Supadmasahayam Bajeham Bajeham., 1

I worship and worship him,
Who’s the protector of the world,
Who wears shining garland on his neck,
Who has a brow like autumn moon,
Who’s the god of demise to nice asuras,
Who has the blue color of the sky,
Who has unstoppable powers of phantasm,
And who’s the helper to Goddess Lakshmi.

Sadambhodhi vasam galathpushpahasam, Jagatsannivasam sathadhithyabhasam, Gadhachakra sastram lasad peetha vasthram, Hasacharu vakthram Bajeham Bajeham. 2

I worship and worship him,
Who at all times lives within the sea,
Who has a smile like a flower,
Who lives in every single place on this planet,
Who has the glint of hundred suns,
Who has mace and holy wheel as armaments,
Who wears yellow garments,
And who has a candy face adorned with smile.

Ramakantaharam sruthivrathasaram, Jalantharviharam dharabharaharam, Chidanandaroopam manogna swaroopam, Druthaneka roopam Bajeham Bajeham. 3

I worship and worship him,
Who’s the garland within the neck of Lakshmi,
Who’s the essence of Vedas, Who lives inside water,
Who lightens the burden of earth,
Who has a type which is eternally pleasing,
Who has a type which attracts the thoughts,
And who has assumed a number of types.

Jarajanma Heenam parananda peetham, Samadana leenam sadaivanaveetham, Jagajjanma hethum suraneeka kethum, Trilokaika sethum Bajeham Bajeham., 4

I worship and worship him,
Who doesn’t have start or getting old,
Who is stuffed with everlasting happiness,
Who’s at all times inquisitive about peace,
Who doesn’t have something new,
Who’s the reason for start of this world,
Who’s the protector of the deva military,
And who’s the bridge between the three worlds.

Kruthamnayaganam khagadhisayanam, Vimukthernidhanam hararadhimanam, Swabakthanukoolam jagadvrukshamoolam, Nirastharthasoolam Bajeham Bajeham., 5

I worship and worship him,
Who’s the singer of the Vedas,
Who rides on the king of birds,
Who’s the reason for salvation,
Who kills enemies of Lord Shiva,
Who may be very a fan of his devotees,
Who’s the foundation of the tree of the world,
And is the exterminator of all sorrows.

Samasthamaresam dwirephabha klesam, Jagat bimba lesam hrudakasa desam, Sada divya deham vimukthakhileham, Suvaikuntageham Bajeham Bajeham. 6

I worship and worship him,
Who’s the lord of all devas,
Who has a fairly hair frequented by bees,
Who has this earth as part of him,
Who has a physique as clear because the sky,
Who at all times has a holy mien,
Who has no attachments to this world,
And has Vaikunta as his residence.

Suralibalishtam Trilokivarishtam, Gurannangarishtam swaroopaikanishtam, Sadyudhadheeram mahaveeraveeram, Bhambhoditheeram Bajeham Bajeham., 7

I worship and worship him,
Who’s the strongest amongst devas,
Who’s the best among the many three worlds,
Who’s the heaviest amongst heavy folks,
Who’s at all times heroic in battles,
Who’s the nice hero of heroes,
And takes you throughout the ocean of life.

Ramavamabhagam thalanagna nagam, Kruthadeethayagam gatharagaragam, Muneendrai sugeetham surai sapareeham, Ganougairaathetham Bajeham Bajeham., 8

I worship and worship him,
Who retains Lakshmi on his left facet,
Who might be approached by Yagas,
Who just isn’t inquisitive about something,
Who carried the Govardhana Mountain,
Who’s pure music to nice sages,
Who’s served by Devas,
And who’s above all beings.

Phalasruthi

Idham yasthu nithyam samadhaya chitham, Padeth ashtakam kashta haram murare, Savishnor vishokam druvam yathilokam, Jarajanmasokam punar vidathe no.

The one who reads with peace,
This octet on Hari,
Which is the destroyer of sorrow,
Would undoubtedly attain the world of Vishnu,
Which is at all times with out sorrow,
And he would by no means endure sorrow ever.
