India: Hindus rejoice elephant-headed God Ganesh

Tens of 1000’s of Hindu worshipers in Mumbai have bid a conventional farewell to Ganesh, the favored elephant-headed Hindu God after a ten-day pageant to rejoice his start.

Large-sized Ganesh idols have been paraded by way of the streets earlier than their ritual immersion within the sea to mark the pure cycle of creation and dissolution.

Through the annual pageant, Hindu households worship Ganesh, the God of data, knowledge and luck, at their properties and collectively on road corners.
