How I Quit Smoking and Overcame My Addiction to Cigarettes

I’m just an ordinary guy who made the mistake of starting smoking at a young age. For over 15 years, I smoked cigarettes. You can quit smoking if I can. You don’t need any aids like nicotine gums or anything else. You should and can go cold turkey! Discover the best info about e zigarette kaufen.

To begin with, if you want to quit smoking, you must WANT to leave. You will not be successful if you do not want to go. On the other hand, quitting smoking could be the best thing you’ve ever done for yourself. The advantages of quitting smoking are enormous.

Your health will significantly improve, you will save a lot of money, and your food will taste much better.

The most important thing to remember, and I cannot emphasize this enough, is that you must be prepared. You must be willing to take on the challenge. You have the upper hand, not the cigarettes. My plan was straightforward, and I no longer wanted to smoke. I had a family I wanted to be there for. When I thought about it, it seemed almost absurd to be paying so much to shorten your life.

It is critical to have the proper mindset. I’ve already stated that you must be prepared, but you must also convince yourself that you will be able to quit smoking. You must be upbeat and aware that you are in command. Take every day as seriously as the first. Be optimistic when you wake up. When you haven’t smoked for four days, it doesn’t make sense to ruin those four days and start over; after four days, the worst part is over, and it’s all downhill. Four days without a cigarette are quite an achievement, and by this point, the physical aspect of the addiction has passed. Your body no longer requires nicotine. It’s all psychological from here on out.

What no one seems to realize is that it’s not that difficult. As a society, we are told that cigarettes are highly addictive and one of the most difficult things to give up. This is an incorrect perspective; in fact, quitting smoking is simple. It’s not all that difficult. If I had to compare it to anything, I’d say it’s no worse than a common cold. Sure, you’ll be irritable and cranky, but every day you don’t smoke brings you one step closer to your goal of never smoking again, and it isn’t that bad. How many colds have you survived? Isn’t that correct? You, too, can stop smoking!

When you decide to quit, take a few days off from the office or job. I recommend stopping on a Friday evening, and here’s how I did it. On Friday, I bought my last pack of cigarettes. Except for one, I smoked them throughout the day. This final cigarette would be my companion. It would comfort me when the craving was at its peak. That evening, before going to bed, I lit my last cigarette, knowing in my mind that I was done with them and in control. This is where the last cigarette comes in. I only smoke half of my previous cigarette instead of finishing it. I extinguished it and stuffed the half-smoked cigarette back into the cigarette package. It was supposed to stay with me for about two weeks, and it did.

I carried that pack of cigarettes everywhere with me. When I felt the strongest desire to smoke, I would take out that lonely half of a cigarette and place it to my lips, pretending to smoke it. Then, when my passions were at their peak, the taste of this half-burned cigarette satisfied them. This method was used for about eight days.

When the urge to smoke returned on the 99th day, I took out that lonely half-burned cigarette I had been carrying for eight days. I looked at this pathetically disgusting thing and realized I didn’t want to put that wretched half-smoked cigarette to my lips any longer. It was filthy and smelled awful. This is how cigarettes have always smelled to me, I reasoned. I never smoked again after that. That was more than ten years ago. I did it, and you can too.
